Prof. Paris Yeros is a Professor at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC), São Paulo, and faculty member of the undergraduate programmes in Economic Sciences and Sciences & Humanities and the postgraduate programmes in World Political Economy and Human & Social Sciences. He is former coordinator of the programme in World Political Economy
(2018-2020). He is an editor of Agrarian South: Journal of Political Economy and
director of Coletivo Novo Bandung. He is also a member of the Nucleus of African and Afro-Brazilian Studies
at UFABC.
He has research experience in the field of Political Economy, working mainly on the following topics: World Economy; Contemporary Africa; Agrarian Question and the Food System; Work and Gender; Decolonization and the National Question
