Popularizing the community constitutions in Komun Village
The key issues that were discussed during the meeting included highlighting traditional rules, leaders’ elections, and the community reactions towards the end of the meeting. It also the findings, lessons learned and what needs to be done.
The day Community meeting was delivered with the following key objectives
1) To come up with community rules that don’t contradict the national laws in land management.
2) To popularize the key sections of the community constitutions to the community members so that they can have them in their minds
3) To facilitate the election of the interim committee on land protection
